5. Mitsuhiro "Mr. Danger" Matsunaga Vs. Yoshihito Sasaki - Pro Wrestling Zero-One (Japan) - 2005
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXZHyebAweU Now a successful restaurateur, one-time legendary Japanese death match wrestler Mitsuhiro Matsunaga intriguingly may have never been better as a heel able to scare the daylights out of everyone then when he appeared in Japan's then hot indie Zero-One in 2005. Matsunaga portraying a disgraced death-match wrestler down on his luck who perpetually takes things a bit too far is entertaining. These aren't so much matches or brawls but engaging whole segments that leave the crowd not cheering raucously (it is, after all, Japan) but the people are certainly completely captivated by what they are seeing. Zero One's top wrestler Yoshihito Sasaki defending the company's honor in a no ropes barbed wire match is amazing. The people watching the match are invested, and Matsunaga turns up the heat brilliantly. Sasaki's eventual victory actually makes
watching the whole feud in full worthwhile.
