4. Look At What Happened To Bray Wyatt When Feuding With Cena
Rusev is in a spot this year that's similar to what Bray Wyatt went through last year. Wyatt was a fairly new heel that WWE wanted to push, so they put him in a WrestleMania feud with John Cena. That led to Cena winning the first match at WrestleMania clean, then Wyatt won in a very cheap way in a cage match at Extreme Rules and Cena won the feud decisively at Payback. After the Cena feud, Wyatt struggled to get back to where he was. He had a feud with Chris Jericho that was really flat and even though Wyatt won it, he was not seen as a bigger star after the feud with Cena. Then they took away Luke Harper and Erick Rowan from him, which also hurt. WWE believes that just because somebody feuds with Cena they are a bigger star for it. That wasn't true in Wyatt's case and assuming that Rusev loses to Cena again, it likely won't be true for him either.
