7 Ways Paul Heyman Can Elevate Seth Rollins

1. Someone To Hide Behind

Seth Rollins has really flourished as a cowardly heel in the latter half of 2014. Hiding himself in the shadow of Triple H and the Authority allowed him to duck and dive away from having to go toe-to-toe with former ally Dean Ambrose, at least until their Hell in a Cell encounter in October. This aspect of Rollins' character has been mostly absent since the collapse of the Authority following the Survivor Series main event. J&J Security are more of a comedy sideshow than genuine protection, which has left the former Architect looking rather exposed. His character tends to avoid getting in the ring on anyone's terms other than his own. However, without a direct line to those with the kayfabe booking power, he has had nowhere to hide in his recent battles with John Cena. Heyman would once again allow Rollins to skulk around in the shadows, possibly even creating friction with his Authority paymasters. As the new advocate for Mr Money in the Bank, Heyman could be wheeled out to inform the WWE Universe that Rollins refuses to work injured or that he is under no obligation to hop between the ropes just because John Cena or Dean Ambrose thought so. For Rollins to reach the next level as a top cowardly heel in WWE, he once again needs someone to fight his battles for him.
