7 Ways To Prepare For WWE Battleground This Sunday

5. Watch Rusev vs. Roman Reigns From Smackdown Last Week

Last week's Smackdown (aired on July 11) featured a high profile match for the first time ever on the main roster as Roman Reigns battled Rusev. They did a segment early in the show to set up the match, which was given the main event slot. The reason that it's a match you should watch is because Rusev had one of the longest matches during his run on the main roster. He started on the main roster after WrestleMania and has mostly had two or three minute matches where he wins easily. Some fans are wondering if he has the tools to have longer matches. If you watched his ten minute match with Reigns from last week you can see that he's definitely good enough to have an excellent match if he's given the time to do so. Nobody is going to have a classic match if they get three minutes, but Rusev has shown he's capable if he's given time. The match ended in a DQ thanks to outside interference. Rusev's match with Swagger will likely get about ten minutes too, so if you watch Reigns vs. Rusev you'll get a preview of what might happen.
