4. His WWE Title Loss Led To WrestleMania 7 Match With Randy Savage
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s7vG7kyokfM There are two matches that really stand out for Ultimate Warrior when talking about his entire career. One of the two matches was at WrestleMania 7 when he took on Randy Savage, the Macho King, in a match where both men put their careers on the line. While most remember the match as the classic that it was, they did a phenomenal job of building up to it too. When Warrior defended the World Title against Sgt. Slaughter at Royal Rumble 1991, most of us didn't know how the match would go. Then again, most of us were kids at that point and didn't think of match finishes the way we do today. His loss wasn't clean, though. WWE liked to protect him, so they had Randy Savage interfere to cost him the Championship that meant so much to him. It was the right way to set up the match at WrestleMania 7 because Warrior was angry that Savage cost him the WWE Title, so it made sense that both of them would want to put their careers on the line. As most know, Warrior got his revenge and Savage was forced to retire although that didn't last too long. People only remember the match at WrestleMania 7, but the build to it was pretty special too.
