7 Ways WWE Can Salvage Gallows & Anderson

3. Split Them Up

This is the hastiest of all options, but it may well be a decent idea. Fans of Gallows & Anderson may just have to accept that this isn't the right time for them in World Wrestling Entertainment. Cesaro & Sheamus are about to surge past them in the 'bruiser tag team' ranks, and Enzo & Big Cass surely can't be kept away from title contention forever. Enhancement positioning awaits.

Not that there's anything wrong with that of course, but there is a whole lot of mileage in the two men who make up the team. One of the great regrets of New Japan Pro Wrestling over the last few years was that Anderson's dominance in the tag division meant we were deprived of a great Anderson singles run. 'Machine Gun' showed on numerous occasions that he was an elite worker in the company, stuck working in the company's undercooked tag division.

The desire to see a Gallows' singles run in NJPW wasn't there, but there is no denying he would be given a fair shake of the stick in WWE. The big man has enough charisma and enough experience to flourish in the company as a singles man, and whilst the roster may be fairly jammed at the moment he could very well be one for the future.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
