7 Ways WWE Could Reinvent Braun Strowman
4. Tag Team Division
Remember back at WrestleMania 34 when Strowman defeated The Bar with 10-year old Nicholas Cone? Why not revisit this idea but actually flesh it out further? Strowman can make use of the “freebird rule” and just change partners every week. Then he can run through more tag teams single handedly while holding both the belts.
This could also allow WWE to transition the tag team division a bit. As of right now, The OC hold them on Raw and The New Day hold them on SmackDown. Why not take the belts off Big E and Xavier Woods since they are already established, and let them fight for the Raw belts instead.
You get a stable war which will help repair the image of the tag division, whilst also allowing Braun to dominate all the other teams that usually don’t make it on television anyway. The Ascension, AOP, and maybe even The Viking Raiders could all be good candidates to take the job. After all, they aren’t exactly making waves right now to begin with. So why not give them a purpose (albeit one that doesn’t serve them) rather than just waiting out their contracts?
It would be something fresh and original for both Braun and tag team wrestling in WWE as a whole. And when it comes to Braun, his programs have been far from entertaining in the past. Which is why he also needs...
