7 Ways WWE Recently Blurred The Lines Between Reality And Storyline

4. Eden, Or Brandi Rhodes?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W0oLDWTvnRc In the case of NXT ring announcer Eden, things are just getting a little more than confusing. Since last spring, Eden has introduced the wrestlers competing on NXT. But earlier this year, she also began keeping a video blog on WWE.com under her real name, Brandi Rhodes. If the name sounds familiar, it should €“ she€™s the real-life wife of Cody Rhodes. The video blog is supposed to be a diary of the wife of a WWE superstar. However, she still is listed on the NXT roster solely as Eden, which means that on the same website, she can be found under two completely different names. It would be like finding a reference to Monty Sopp on the site. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVEYI2DxUU8 Things took a strange turn recently when Cody Rhodes underwent a gimmick transformation into Stardust. Rather than play it straight on Brandi€™s video blog, she €œdiscovered€ Cody€™s makeup and contact case, then shockingly stumbled upon Stardust at the end of her entry. So is this video blog, which has included Cody and Brandi visiting a dog park, a look into her real life, or is it another vehicle for storylines? And why is she still Eden on NXT if she€™s being incorporated into the Stardust storyline on WWE.com?
