7 Ways WWE Has Screwed Up Cesaro's Career This Year

5. Losing Too Many Matches Has Killed His Momentum

We don't want to pay money to watch losers. It's a common sense thing. Sports teams that lose aren't as marketable as those that win. If you're a wrestler that loses more than you win then you are labeled a loser. That's just how it is. In the past month, for whatever reason, Cesaro has been on the losing side of things far too often. He lost to Kofi Kingston. He lost to Big E. While he had an interesting moment with them in the battle royal at Battleground, he really didn't do much else. Maybe Paul Heyman dumped him because of the losses. We don't know because there wasn't even a promo about it. What we saw with Cesaro earlier this year was his star getting brighter because he was in a more featured role. He was in the main event of Elimination Chamber. He had very good television matches with the likes of John Cena, Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan that really got him noticed. Look at him now. He's not even close to what he was five months ago. Why? It's the fault of the booking. It's nice to have talent. That will help you become a star. However, if the booking makes you look like a loser then you're never going to be a star that gets to that next level. That's just how it is.
