As a fan of The Headshrinkers way back in 1994, Samu & Fatu losing the tag titles to Michaels and Diesel at a house show broke my little Welsh heart. I didn't even realise that house shows were even a thing at the time, so watching the Samoans take on IRS & Bam Bam Bigelow at SummerSlam without their titles was a confusing experience.

Michaels and Diesel were known as Two Dudes With Attitude because 1990s, and they held the titles for 87 days despite defending them against a grand total of bugger all challengers. Who beat them for the titles?

Nobody did. Michaels made forfeiting titles a skill in the 1990s, and ostensibly the titles were dropped because of his unwillingness to lose to any of the tag teams of the time. Diesel would win the WWF Championship three days later (also at a house show).

What's wrong with losing to The Heavenly Bodies Michaels?!

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
