7 Wrestlers Whose Stock Dropped The Most In 2019

2. Tamina

Tamina is an excellent example of a performer who was being featured prominently when the year began but eventually lost momentum.

In the early portion of 2019, as one-half of a tag team that also included Nia Jax, she had carved out a nice role for herself and received a fair amount of television time. Moreover, Tamina was involved in both and an Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania match for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship.

Unfortunately, her partner Jax was sidelined due to injury and WWE showed little interest in giving Tamina a single's push. As a result, the Hall of Famer's daughter would spend the next few months appearing on Main Event, before being sidelined with a concussion.

She returned in October and held the 24/7 title for a few minutes, but other than that, Tamina hasn't really had a significant role since Jax went down last April.

Tamina's stock took a hit mostly due to circumstances beyond her control, but that's how it sometimes goes in a business as unforgiving as pro wrestling.
