7. ECW Would Not Have Had Their First World Champion

Given that before ECW was "Extreme," the company was just "Eastern" Championship Wrestling, Jimmy Snuka being the company's first world champion makes sense.

On the east coast of the United States is where Snuka made his star the brightest with the WWF, and in 1992 he was fresh from a run on WWF TV that involved working with the likes of Mr. Perfect, The Undertaker and many more.

Though even then known by some as a professional liability, Snuka still appeared for the then nascent ECW from 1992-1994. Alongside the likes of ex-WWF performer Don Muraco also being in early ECW, Snuka played a key role in giving the promotion legitimacy in its early days.
