The most plausible option by far would be to have Owens demolish Sheamus, taking his Money In The Bank contract in the process. The Irishman was a curious choice to win the briefcase, an outcome many saw as a hasty alternative to a Roman Reigns victory - something which would have provoked an incredibly negative reaction from a great number of fans. The only issue would be coming up with a plausible reason for Sheamus to allow Owens a shot at the briefcase - but the WWE have managed it before. Edge took Mr. Kennedy's title shot in 2007, and Ziggler could well have lost his briefcase to John Cena in 2012 (but defended it successfully at the TLC Pay Per View). There's little doubt that Owens would represent an infinitely more exciting MITB prospect than Sheamus. The former NXT Champion is a far fresher face, whereas Sheamus' recent return and heel turn hasn't garnered quite the reaction the WWE were perhaps expecting.
