7 WWE Midcarders That Should Break Through In 2015

2. Cesaro

Cesaro's the perfect example of a guy that had a lot of momentum and then had it taken away because WWE chose to ignore the fact that people were cheering for him around WrestleMania time. If you watch WrestleMania 30 as well as Raw the next night, he received one of the biggest ovations during those shows. Instead of embracing it, WWE kept him heel and he became just another midcard wrestler again. It seems like WWE is content is keeping him as a heel just because he's a foreigner. In Vince McMahon's WWE, non American = evil a lot of the time. It's a stupid and close minded way of looking at things, but that's how it has been in WWE for a long time. The good thing for Cesaro is it will be pretty easy for him to turn face. Since the Cesaro Swing spot is so popular with the fans, it's just a matter of doing the swing to the right heel and hoping the fans react to it in a positive way. Since he's got an array of offensive moves that the fans usually cheer (like the uppercut shot), he will have success as a good guy. Cesaro is everything that WWE should want in a future main eventer. He's got over a decade of experience, he's in the prime of his career at 34 years old this year and he's been on the main roster enough that the fans know him. All that's left is for WWE to give him a chance and this time, don't take it away from him. Here's a tip for Cesaro: Don't say you're sick of Cena vs. Orton even if you are. That's not best for business or for your promising future.
