Injuries suck and we don't want to see anybody get injured, but in Ryback's case his absence for the past three months was a blessing in disguise. He returned to Raw this week and he was absolutely on fire. The fans were ready to cheer him as a babyface again after doing his "big guy" schtick for the last year or so. The "Feed Me More" chants are back. That "meat hook" clothesline looks devastating again. The Shellshock finisher really isn't that impressive looking, but in today's WWE where being safe is all that really matters it fits in well. Ryback isn't the best wrestler on this list and he never will be, but that connection he has with the fans is strong. It matters a lot in the eyes of the decision makers in WWE. He should be a part of John Cena's Survivor Series team. He should also be one of the guys that lasts near the end of that match. When it comes time for the Royal Rumble, he should have an impressive showing there too. Ryback has built up a good connection with the fans and they will believe in him if he's pushed like a star. Two years ago he was headlining PPVs. He wasn't that bad at it either. There's potential with this guy and WWE should do what they can to see if he can realize that potential. Ryback has a chance to move up the ladder as a babyface. The only problem is the roster is loaded up with faces right now. If he continues to be booked strong, though, he can make it to the top. He's done it before and can do it again.
