7 WWE Royal Rumble Cliches We'll Definitely See This Year

WWE seem to feel the need to give us a crash course in the rules of the Rumble every year, as though their audience have never seen the event before. Casual viewers must be catered for as well, to be fair, but it can get a little grating to be reminded, for the 400th time of the night, that both feet need to touch the floor for an elimination to take effect.

Perhaps it's WWE that need to read up on the rules, too - after all, they seem to be making them up as they go along. Do you have to qualify for the Rumble or can you just rock up on the night and incapacitate a designated entrant? Do you have to actually go into the ring to officially enter or can you hang out by the Titantron all match? And why are those who have already been eliminated allowed to jump back into the ring to take out active competitors?
