7 WWE Superstars In Vince McMahon's Doghouse Right Now

2. Jack Swagger

The booking of Jack Swagger of late has been weird. He lost several matches to Rusev in the summer and they were pretty good. Then he had a feud with Bo Dallas, which really didn't do anything for either guy. His face turn is okay, but he's much more natural as a cocky, arrogant heel. Recently, Swagger was mentioned by John Cena as a potential member of Cena's Survivor Series team despite the fact that he rarely wins matches. It was only done in a backstage segment. He wasn't even on screen with Cena for it. Then he was put in a match where he ended up receiving two Curb Stomps from Seth Rollins. They said he was too hurt to compete at Survivor Series. This week on Main Event (five days before Survivor Series) he was in match losing to Bray Wyatt in under three minutes. In other words, they wrote him out of a storyline for a specific date (Sunday night) and then couldn't even wait to bring him back until after that date. Maybe they can say that Cena replaced him and that's that, but they don't even address it. Swagger's in a tough spot right now. His current gimmick is very limited as a babyface with a manager. Other than Rusev, who can he really feud with while pushing the patriotic angle? There's nobody. Until he's repackaged in some way, he'll be lost in the midcard.
