7 WWE Superstars Who Will Likely Miss WrestleMania 32 (And What Their Absence Means)

6. Cesaro

Unfortunately, WrestleMania will be missing the best pound-for-pound all-around wrestler in WWE today, a superstar that has been endorsed by legends such as Stone Cold Steve Austin, Ric Flair and Mick Foley. In November, Cesaro underwent surgery to fix a torn left shoulder rotator cuff. With a recovery time of approximately 4 to 6 months, the Swiss Superman will likely miss WrestleMania, which is really too bad. The popular opinion, among both fans and those within the industry alike, is that there is no underpusehd performer more deserving of a shot than Cesaro. The one thing that€™s become obvious to anyone watching over the past two years is that Cesaro, while genuinely underutilized throughout the year, benefits from a post-WrestleMania bump. At WrestleMania XXX in 2014, Cesaro shined as the winner of the first ever Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. At WrestleMania 31, he and his tag team parter Tyson Kid (who is also going to miss WrestleMania this year due to an injury) came out winners and became a legitimate fan-favorite tag team. The positive thing for Cesaro is that, unlike the other names on this list, he both has a long career ahead of him and was in a position where momentum was just once again starting to build so there was no full-stop. When Cesaro returns, the Cesaro Section will once again show up in full force and Cesaro will be back, hopefully, with the push he deserves.
