1. Seth Rollins
This one hurts most of all. Seth Rollins was on a role, as the breakout star of the Shield, and had quickly established himself as the top heel in the company. Charisma to spare, the ability to so easily shine as a bad guy in his promos, and possibly the most talented in-ring competitor in the company 2015 was Seth Rollins year. He walked into WrestleMania 31 as Mr. Money in the Bank and walked out as the WWE World champion. Now, Seth Rollins will miss WrestleMania 32 entirely, because at a house show in Ireland in November, he tore his ACL, MCL, and medial meniscus. He will be out for 6 to 9 months. Perhaps we will see Seth Rollins make an appearance at WrestleMania 32, but we will certainly not see him compete. The hit both WWE and Rollins took from this was immediately noticeable. Seth had to be stripped of his title, and what was to be the main feud in the company Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns was brought to an abrupt halt. A new top heel in Sheamus, a superstar whose time at the top has quite obviously come on gone years ago if we are to go by fan response, had to be thrust into the spot. The Authority has lost its lustre and really no longer has THE guy who represents them during in-ring competition. Seth Rollins will return after WrestleMania and reclaim the top spot, one that truly belongs to him. However, the changes that had to be made will have long-lasting effects on many performers' pushes and the creative direction the company must now take.
