IC Title - Kevin Owens vs. Neville

The Intercontinental Championship seemed to curse any wrestler that held the gold. Big E as champ, was relegated to the battle royal at WrestleMania XXX, Daniel Bryan got injured, Bad News Barrett became non-existent and Ryback went absolutely nowhere. Luckily, when Kevin Owens beat Ryback for the title at Night of Champions, things seemed to be on the up for the title formed in Rio De Janeiro in 1979.

Since winning the strap, Owens has managed to avoid the usual pitfall of losing non title matches and becoming irrelevant. After his short and decisive rematch victory over The Big Guy at Hell In A Cell, Neville seems like a logical choice for his next opponent.

Neville€™s never held gold on the main roster. Owens is as cocky of a heel as you€™ll get and with the former Pac being so likeable, the dynamic could be a joy to watch. Owens is incredibly athletic for a man his size. These two could tear the house down with 15 minutes or so. The prestige of the Intercontinental title used to involve great matches and these two could do that in a heartbeat.
