8 Annoying Traits WWE Stars Need To Stop RIGHT NOW

2. Finn Bálor's Painted On Smile

Remember that super-slick, cool leather jacketed Finn Bálor who periodically turned into a menacing Demon for major feuds? He's been replaced by a dorky figure with a smile he'd need surgically removed. Seriously, all WWE creative can come up with for Bálor, one of the best wrestlers in the world and former Bullet Club bad-ass, is that he smiles a lot?

To paraphrase Tony Schiavone, "boy, that'll put some butts in seats".

This is most irritating when Finn does it in backstage segments. The fact WWE talent don't interact with or talk to one another like real people is a wider issue, but Bálor's walk-on smile routine is a perfect example of what's wrong with it. That's the face of someone you'd love to slap, not someone you want to root for.

Nobody is suggesting Finn, a babyface, isn't allowed to smile. Far from it, though he should think about doing it less before it becomes the sole part of his act people notice. That school photo-style mug contrasts poorly with the nonchalant coolness of Bálor's entrance and the viciousness of his ring work.
