8 Awesome Survivor Series Teams WWE Must Book

With such a large roster available, WWE can really go to town with this year's Survivor Series.

Survivor Series usually brings out the best (or worst) in fantasy bookers, as fans across the globe throw together dream teams of superstars past and present. Although the PPV has failed to really impress in recent years, particularly in terms of traditional five-on-five action, this year WWE actually find themselves with a large enough roster to fully explore the concept. While it remains to be seen just how faithful WWE are to the theme of their second-oldest pay per view, the options available to them are quite staggering. Clearly all eight of these teams couldn't appear on the same card; there are some overlapping superstars, and putting on a handful of traditional Survivor Series matches may simply be too much to ask for in this day and age. It's more than likely that WWE will stick to one or two elimination bouts, but that doesn't mean they'll necessarily fail to excite - as long as a little imagination is put to use...

8. Team Europe - Sheamus, Barrett, Neville, Rusev, Cesaro

The strange pseudo-alliance between Sheamus, Barrett and Rusev has cropped up seemingly by accident. Each man has suffered misfortune of late; Sheamus has fallen victim to the curse of the Briefcase, Rusev's engagement to Lana looks to have derailed his entire career, and Barrett can't seem to get over no matter how well he performs. I'm usually a critic of the 'evil foreigner' heel shtick; it's lazy and one-dimensional. However, it could be forgiven in this instance, a clear example of a stable being greater than the sum of its parts. A European team would generate instant heat, espeically with the overtly-smug mic skills of Barrett at the helm. As for Cesaro and Neville's babyface status, it's not as though WWE are allowing them to go anywhere as babyfaces anyway. Hell, they could even bring Regal in at the PPV for a small role as ringside manager. If Rusev's injury isn't healed by Survivor Series, why not rock the boat a little and bring in Paige for some inter-gender fun.
