8 Awesome Ways For Seth Rollins To Return To WWE In 2016
5. The Shield, Reunited At Last
There have been rumours of Dean Ambrose turning heel for a while now, and with Rollins gone, this is more likely to happen in the next few weeks than ever before. However, should Roman Reigns and the Lunatic Fringe remain allies, Rollins returning to save them both from someone would be a great way to lead to The Shield reunion everyone has been hoping for since the dominant faction first broke up. In some ways, a return for The Shield feels like a retread of old ground, and that's actually why I wouldn't suggest making this a permanent thing. However, Seth being allied with his former brothers for at least a little while would guarantee that fans get behind him in a major way, taking him from being the WWE's top heel to its top face (a role he'll no doubt nail). Once this reunion (and feud with another group of Superstars presumably) was is done with, Seth could take aim at the title again, but this would be a nice way to ease him back into action and protect what is sure to be a vulnerable part of his body in future given his high flying and fast paced style. Alternatively, why not have the reunited Shield completely dominate the WWE for the next couple of years? The majority of fans would love to see it, and it's fair to say that the quality of WWE programming would increase tenfold with these guys back in the main event each week. That would certainly go some way in fixing those ratings...
