8 Awesome WWE Matches Ruined By DQ Finishes

1. Seth Rollins Vs. Dean Ambrose - Elimination Chamber 2015

"We've got a Lunatic Fringe as champion!". Oh, do we Michael Cole? DO WE? Because it seems that even in 2015 and on PPV, that no match is safe from the ol' Dusty finish. There may be a certain segment of the current WWE fanbase who cringed at seeing Rollins' name on the main event once again, but it's hard to argue that this wasn't one hell of an exciting match to watch, with a cavalcade of daring bumps, inventive spots, and high drama. But in another instance that proves just how desperately WWE wanted to force-feed the world Seth Rollins, they decided to actually rub everyone's nose in the fact that Dean Ambrose is unlikely to ever carry the WWE Championship for more than the 25 seconds he did at Elimination Chamber. Just when you thought they might take a slight risk and give Ambrose the title (if even for a night), they pulled out another convoluted finish, disqualifying Rollins for using the ref as a shield, despite another referee coming to the ring to award Ambrose the pinfall. It would be one thing if this didn't bring back the worst kinds of flashbacks to Hell in a Cell 2014. But hey, at least there were no holograms this time around...
