8 Best Choices For The Undertaker's Final Opponent
5. John Cena
With The Streak gone, Cena vs. Undertaker makes a little less sense than it used to, but theres no denying it would still be a huge match. The two havent battled since Cena became the face of the company years ago. Taker roughed him up when he was still in his heel rapper character, but they havent crossed paths in ages. Maybe that's something that bothers Cena's character. WWE could even bill it as a career vs. career match between the two. Over the past few months, the company keeps reminding us that Cena is old so maybe they could actually get something out of that odd promotion tactic. If they dont want to go that route, they could just build Cena as wanting to have that dream match that he never got. He wants to prove that hes one of the all-time greats, and to do that he has to beat Undertaker. With Takers body showing a ton of wear and tear, he needs someone that he can trust in the ring. Cena possesses near superhuman strength so Taker would feel safe in that regard, and besides, they could generate a ton of crowd heat by just standing there. If WWE wanted to really make things interesting, they could have a heel Cena battle Undertaker. Its doubtful to happen, but you can only imagine how much fun the crowd would have with that. When you speak of true dream matches in wrestling, theres very few left, but Cena vs. Undertaker is still one of the few that has some chance of happening.
As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at."
Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week.
