One of the last major independent shows before WrestleMania 33, WWN’s Mercury Rising is always an enjoyable affair. The event gathers together some of the best wrestlers from the WWN promotional network (EVOLVE, FIP, SHINE, and more), and this year’s event is heavily built around a number of big PROGRESS vs. EVOLVE matches.

If Zack Sabre Jr. defends his EVOLVE Championship versus ACH on Thursday, he’ll put the belt on the line against PROGRESS’ Mark Haskins at Mercury Rising. If he loses, however, ACH will have the honor of defending his newly won belt against PROGRESS Champion Pete Dunne. Continuing the theme, Jimmy Havoc will face Ethan Page earlier in the show, and the sleazy South Pacific Power Trip are booked to wrestle Chris Dickinson & Jaka.

The show will be headlined by a six-way match to crown the first ever WWN Champion, which features titleholders from some of the network’s top promotions. Drew Galloway and Matt Riddle have been announced among the competitors, and the main event promises to close WWN’s busy weekend on an extremely chaotic note.

Watch: FloSlam (Saturday, 8pm EDT/1am GMT)
