8 Best Non-WWE Events To Attend Over WrestleMania 33 Weekend
2. ROH: Supercard Of Honor 11 (Saturday 1st April)
Fresh off an outstanding 15th Anniversary Show on March 10th and with rumours of a WWE takeover still swirling, Ring Of Honor bring one of their biggest events of the year to Orlando on Saturday. This is ROH’s third PPV in the past four weeks, and if the quality is anywhere near as good as the previous two, fans are in for a treat.
Bully Ray, Will Ospreay, Jay Lethal, Cody Rhodes, and countless others will all be in action, but the night’s three title matches are definitely the biggest draws. ROH Television Champion Marty Scurll will defend his belt against Adam Cole, and they’ll be followed by new ROH Champion Christopher Daniels taking on the flamboyant Dalton Castle.
The real story is the main event, however.
Matt and Jeff Hardy became ROH Tag Team Champions by toppling The Young Bucks a few weeks ago, and the two teams will settle their differences in a ladder match. The Broken Hardys have been linked with a WWE return from the moment their Impact Wrestling deals expired - could this be the last opportunity to see them compete on a smaller stage? We’ll see if they show up at WrestleMania, but this should be a fantastic match regardless.
