5. The Undertaker Vs Triple H (WrestleMania 28)

Rating: 4.75/5

This was the third of three attempts Triple H had at ending Undertaker's streak; the first two, both no disqualification bouts, had been unsuccessful - but this one was a little different. It took place inside Hell in a Cell, and Shawn Michaels - whose career 'Taker had ended two years prior - was drafted in as the guest referee. It had the whiff of something truly special - and it delivered too.

Sometimes you watch a Hell in a Cell match and wonder what function the gimmick serves, its competitors seemingly intent to fight a run-of-the-mill bout that just so happens to take place inside a passive steel structure. But Triple H and 'Taker - both masters of their craft - made their match the brutal, blood-curdling affair the storyline (and fans) demanded.

It was an epic encounter, and one which - featuring the last three Attitude Era stars still around - pretty much encapsulated an entire generation of wrestling.
