Bret Hart WrestleMania X Celebration
WWE

When Michael Hickenbottom was an itty-bitty boy growing up in San Antonio, Texas, he dreamed of one day shirtlessly spooning an oversized gold belt in front of 18,000 people. In 1996, the boyhood dream came true.

You can't blame him for dropping to his knees after sixty minutes plus of intense tedium in WrestleMania XII's extensive closer. Perhaps he was just glad it was over? Either way, the emotion was genuine, the tears sufficiently moist. Points deducted for Shawn still managing to find time to be an utter bell-pepper in his moment of triumph by ordering "piece of sh*t" Bret Hart out of the ring.

He's currently trying to compile a comprehensive history of video game music, yet denies accusations that he purposefully targets niche audiences. He's often wrong about these things.
