8 Big Concerns Heading Into WWE No Mercy 2017

1. Beating The Monster

Braun vs. Brock is going to rule, but WWE have booked themselves into a corner at No Mercy. Not only have they burned a match that could potentially serve as WrestleMania 34's main event, but they've paired two wrestlers who really can't afford to lose at the moment, leaving them with no ideal outcome.

'The Beast' will likely prevail, as we already know he'll face Roman Reigns at 'Mania. A screwy finish will keep Braun protected, but such outcomes never go down well, particularly as WWE go to them so often. This means there's a strong chance that Lesnar will overcome Strowman cleanly, using him as a springboard to move onto his next challenger, while 'The Monster Among Men' slides back down the card.

This would be a huge mistake. Braun is the hottest act in the company at the moment, and while he doesn't necessarily need to become Universal Champion on Sunday, he shouldn't be eating clean pins to anyone, even the baddest man in the company. Protecting him should be a massive priority. Sure, he's strong enough to recover, but why devalue one of your strongest commodities in the first place?
