8. How Long Is Mizdows Shelf Life?
Damien Mizdows stunt double gimmick is one of the few regular bright spots on Raw right now. Unlike the Bunny, this is humor that works across the board. The fact that Miz is delivering some grade-A Hollywood heel right now only helps get the character over. But at some point, the Mizdow routine is going to wear thin. Damien stands on the apron mimicking Miz as fans chant, We want Mizdow! Then he gets the tag and then what? Sure, fans cheer like crazy as he enters the ring and hits a couple moves, and Miz is soundly booed, but at some point, fickle fans will tire of the routine and the chants will dwindle. The question is whether WWE will recognize that this is a finite gimmick and will need to progress at some point. They were smart to slap the WWE Tag Team Championships on Miz and Mizdow at the peak of their popularity, now they need to keep an eye on crowd reaction to make sure they dont miss the opportunity to cash in on the other end of things.
