The four-way is now a five-way, as Cena, Reigns, Bálor, Joe, and Strowman do battle for the right to face Lesnar at TLC. This concept has been used already this year (with Bray Wyatt in for Cena), but re-using it establishes the stacked nature of RAW’s roster. There are a lot of top guys, and they are all very close to each other.

Strowman dominates the match, hitting everyone with his usual variety of power moves. The quartet of opponents realise that their only chances lie in getting rid of Braun, so they inevitably gang up on the 'Monster Among Men'. They are helped by Braun’s knack for running really fast through things as well.

Reigns hits a Superman punch, Joe hits an enzuigiri and Bálor hits a running dropkick, before Cena does the unthinkable and hits Strowman with an AA. Super Cena never dies, after all. Strowman is essentially taken out of the match.

To the delight of the WWE Universe it will be Roman Reigns who comes out on top, pinning Samoa Joe to book his spot in the main event of TLC.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
