On Smackdown last week, Daniel Bryan accomplished the unthinkable: He defeated the Intercontinental Champion, Bad News Barrett. Oh wait, Dolph Ziggler, Dean Ambrose and R-Truth all have beaten Barrett in the past month as well. So much for it being an accomplishment. With a multi-man ladder match for the IC title set for WrestleMania, it is beginning to look like this is a possible destination for Bryan. There also is the issue of a returning Sheamus, and we all know how much WWE seems to love booking the Celtic Warrior and Bryan for WrestleMania. Whatever match Bryan ends up in, it will be a letdown for his fans, who were clamoring for him to find a way into the Mania main event once again. The best fans could hope for at this point is that hes put in a match where he gets time to shine and emerges victorious. If he happened to capture the Intercontinental Championship and then turn it into the wrestling title it once was then that would be a small consolation to fans. One thing is for sure: Bryan fans are going to want to know what their hero is doing for WrestleMania soon. Whether hes entering the IC title ladder match or being programmed for another feud, things need to start rolling along soon.
