8 Celebrities Who Deserve A Place In WWE Hall Of Fame
4. Lawrence Taylor
The art of seeing celebrities step into the ring is a spectrum of quality ranging from Snoop Dogg's AEW splash at the bottom and Bad Bunny's WrestleMania showing at the top.
On that spectrum, Lawrence Taylor sits pretty high. He took to the ring at a time when the idea of a celebrity stepping between the ropes wasn't so commonplace and set a precedent for the quality expected in such spectacle matches.
The ex-NFL man's match against Bam Bam Bigelow at WrestleMania XI was surprisingly great, and he turned a lot of heads with his athleticism and hard work. While it was rough around the edges, it was incredible to see the amount of skill he could pull out. Additionally, his pairing with Bigelow (who also deserves an induction) worked wonders for the company, taking the concept of celebrity involvement in wrestling and changing it forever.
He deserves to be rewarded for that performance and for the work he did to help maintain the popularity of wrestling. A HOF induction seems like the perfect way to do so.
