8. Face Off Against The Returning Sheamus

Although it would be tempting for the WWE to launch Rollins straight into a bloody feud with Lesnar or Reigns, an interesting alternative would be to allow the two contenders to scrap amongst themselves for a while. This would allow Seth to solidify himself as a legitimate champion by first winning a big PPV match against a lesser challenger. Sheamus would be perfect in this regard. Although out of action for a while, the Celtic Warrior is a recognisable and popular enough face to step straight into a main event feud with little build-up. He also seems to be a superstar with the ability to absorb big losses without taking too much of a hit, remaining over with the fans (especially youngsters) like a lesser John Cena. The upcoming Extreme Rules PPV would be the perfect stage for Rollins to crush Sheamus, regaining an air of danger and establishing himself as a worthy champion.
