Brock Lesnar has something of a reputation as a hard-working country boy. Born and raised on a farm in Minneapolis, Minnesota and grafting during his early years, the reputation is kind of true. Lesnar is still reclusive and, according to Paul Heyman, voluntarily lives in the middle of nowhere so as not to be bothered by anyone. When Lesnar started making big money as WWE champion, however, he had more money than he knew what to do with it. Considering Lesnar was making $250,000 per year to train in OVW, the amount he earned during his 2002-2004 peak must have been a lot, lot more. Lesnar, being young and rich, did what many people would do: he went out and spent it on things he had always wanted. Sports cars, motorcycles, expensive dinners. A lot of people wouldn't buy a $400,000 business jet, which is what Lesnar did in March 2004. He did this so he wouldn't have to travel with anyone else (Lesnar loathes travelling anyway). Given the costs of maintenance, fuel, mechanics, insurance and paying for a pilot, it most have ended up costing significantly more than what Lesnar originally paid. I'm sure for the reclusive Lesnar, it was worth it. Besides, given his multi-million dollar, severely reduced wrestling schedule and big money endorsements, Lesnar can probably afford it.
