4. Steve Austin's Clocks & Watches
Remember during the Invasion when Stone Cold would listen to his wristwatch? Well, maybe the watch was talking to Steve Austin. He certainly has an affinity for the mobile time-keepers. When he's not hunting, drinking beer or recording his increasingly popular podcast, Austin is on the lookout for for antique clocks and watches. On the aforementioned podcast he can often be found talking about the fondness he has for for his clock and watch collection. When asked by the Chicago Tribune what his biggest collection is, Austin said:
I would say my watches -- I probably have 10 at this point -- and clocks going back to the '30s and '50s -- old neon beer clocks. When I say collect, I don't mean collector-type pieces. I try to be on the thrifty side.
For a man with the wealth of Steve Austin, the term 'thrifty' could mean anything. Regardless of how much money he actually spends on them, the fact that Austin collects old watches and clocks is wonderfully quirky.
