8 HUGE WWE Elimination Chamber 2023 Predictions You Need To Know

5. United States Championship Elimination Chamber

A bunch of interesting wrestlers and Austin Theory haven't come together to make an interesting match here.

Damian Priest is as good as he's ever been on the main roster as part of The Judgment Day, but Rhea Ripley simply has to be the first one to strike gold for the group. Johnny Gargano's run's gone to seed so far, but he will likely have to work the bulk of this and could remind others of his worth in the meantime. Seth Rollins is above it all, in truth, and his rumoured match with Logan Paul at WrestleMania is too. Bronson Reed is the latest Triple H comeback to cause less than a ripple in arenas. Ploughing into a chamber pod will locate the noise, but mostly for him eating the plexiglass rather than rising above the rest. Montez Ford can and will shine, but exactly how remains unclear other than an off-the-pod spot likely to be one of the best in the gimmick’s history.

It's a night for the titleholder to stay on top.

As a show, Elimination Chamber's been more about WrestleMania than itself before, but never have the stakes felt lower than here. A secondary title needs its stunt cast match on ‘The Grandest Stage’, and Theory keeping the gold here is the only way we get there. There are other more fun alternatives than the Champion retaining, but Theory’s got to be "here" if John Cena's gonna be there.

Winner - Austin Theory
