8 HUGE WWE Extreme Rules 2021 Predictions You Need To Know

2. Roman Reigns (c) Vs. "The Demon" Finn Bálor

What initially seemed like an awesome way to fill a B-show main event has been fatally wounded by WWE's decision to announce Roman Reigns Vs Brock Lesnar in Saudi Arabia next month.

The Demon has never lost on the WWE main roster, and this match should have been given heft as a result. Instead, the contest feels like far too much of a formality to waste such a big moment on. An aesthetic change to the blue of Roman's belt would be nice too, even if it proves to serve as a memory of his worst night.

Even if Reigns doesn't win - and your writer believes he will - the best Finn Bálor can hope for his fabled alter ego is that it goes to a non-finish, and how much of a failsafe is that anyway? Yes they can him unbeaten but what kind of Demon simply accepts a disqualification?

As good as the match could and should be, the lack of suspense stands to completely kill the drama. Especially when the company will be far more concerned about what happens next...

Winner - Roman Reigns
