Pressure.

Pressure rests atop the shoulders of Adam Cole and especially Velveteen Dream as they look likely to headline TakeOver: In Your House with another cinematic confrontation that has to be bigger than the sum of its parts if their prior singles match was anything to go by.

Dream's looked a step off since returning from injury, with those bang average matches betraying the effervescence and arrogance of his promos. He's also not had to do a great deal to get this shot, which isn't the ideal set-up for a babyface to go over a Champion just weeks after said titleholder has celebrated being the most successful with that strap.

Cole breaking Finn Bálor's longevity record with the title is the sort of thing WWE were destined to go bigger with had circumstances beyond their control not impeded it, but getting him over the line might be enough to convince them to make the switch. A mouthwatering programme or two exists from the dying embers of the Undisputed Era if Roderick Strong's recent actions are to feed into anything bigger, and Dream is a perfect babyface transitional champion in the vein of a Drew McIntyre and Shinsuke Nakmaura.

Winner - Velveteen Dream. But what of the match?
