8 HUGE WWE Survivor Series Predictions You Need To Know

7. Buddy Murphy (c) Vs. Mustafa Ali

Buddy Murphy's improvement in 2018 has mirrored the gradual growth of 205 Live during the same period. Triple H took hold of the ailing brand in the wake of the acrimonious exits of former Champions Neville and Enzo Amore in October 2017 and January 2018 respectively in time to crown a new titleholder for a new beginning at WrestleMania 34.

The intentions were a little too on-the-nose that night, but the objective was achieved nonetheless as Cedric Alexander began a credible campaign with a victory over Mustafa Ali. His reign may have been terminated at Super Show-down for a hometown pop, but new steward Murphy was ripped and ready for the task at hand.

As he will be here in the only match without "bragging rights" ramifications. Imagine titles just being motivation enough for the wrestlers to wrestle.

Ali's time has to come eventually, but Murphy's yet to look out of place at the top of the tree on 205. Having him fall at his first major hurdle would only serve a purpose if the main roster beckoned. And for now at least, it doesn't.

Winner - Buddy Murphy
