Can a broken Seth Rollins fix Shinsuke Nakamura's woeful pay-per-view quality record?

'The King Of Strong Style' has been neither 'rockstar' nor 'artist' since his main roster call-up in 2017, to the point where he's even made his NJPW devotees consider just how much he brought to a celebrated tenure on NXT before his SmackDown Live arrival.

He's been overlooked for months on the blue brand, which is doubly regrettable considering the fact he's carrying the show's secondary strap. An otherwise-meaningless match could have huge ramifications if one of the year's most consistent performers has one of occasionally exceptional nights.

'The Architect' has done more with much much less opposite him in 2018, but this match may get overwhelmed by a thickening plot between him and former Shield "brother" Dean Ambrose. The Lunatic M-Shape has receded back into the miserable and crazed version of himself of late, with WWE showing uncharacteristic patience in telling the story thus far.

Nakamura can take what'll be a much needed point for SmackDown Live and kayfabe, but can Rollins reinvigorate his in-ring with so much more to concentrate on beyond the body of the match itself?

Winner - Shinsuke Nakamura
