6. Another Match On The Pre-show
At the time of writing, there’s currently only one match scheduled for the Survivor Series pre-show, that being the Cruiserweight Championship bout between Enzo Amore and Kalisto.
However, that pre-show is scheduled to run for two hours. That means we’re either going to be subjected to an arduously long Kalisto vs Amore match—which we’ve already seen three times, by the way—or (and hopefully this is the more likely scenario) we’ll be seeing another match added to the card.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com is reporting that the latter option will indeed prove to be the case and that the match in question will also have a Raw vs. SmackDown theme.
Knowing WWE, that could easily mean we’re given a token multi-man tag bout, but fingers crossed it means we’re actually given a decent match with some kind of significance behind it. One possibility that springs to mind is Chad Gable vs. Jason Jordan, former NXT Tag Team Champions who’ve since been split up after graduating to the main roster.
Realistically, though, don’t be surprised to see every available tag team thrust into a random, impromptu eight- or ten-person elimination bout.
