8 Lessons WWE Should Learn From Daniel Bryan's Latest Injury

2. The Daniel Bryan Of Old May Never Come Back

For years, WWE has been able to rely on Daniel Bryan to deliver a great match. Night in and night out, he was responsible for one of the best matches on the card, helping to carry the company from an in-ring perspective. The neck injury created doubts in the minds of some that he could continue being that guy for the company and if the latest injury is any indicator, it is very possible that the Bryan of old may never come back. That would leave the company to do one of two things: either they find someone who can be that guy or it insists that the talented roster of Superstars up their games even more so that the quality of in-ring work improves across the board, making for a much more consistent product overall. Either way, the days of Vince McMahon and WWE Creative leaning on Bryan to bring the work rate could very well be over. Rather than waiting to find out, making the necessary arrangements and adjustments now would behoove them.
