8 Major Problems With Brock Lesnar Vs. Jinder Mahal

3. Jinder Needs A Great Match

Jinder Mahal’s WWE Championship has not been a success so far, but it is hard on Mahal to say that he hasn’t improved. When he won the title, his promos were forced and his delivery was amateur, his voice frequently going and his cadence all over the place. Mahal looked like an enhancement talent forced into a position he wasn’t ready for, which is exactly what he was.

Jinder’s promos have vastly improved, and the man now carries himself like a star. The only problem is that his matches are still plodding bores. Mahal frequently has the worst match on the card, and neither Randy Orton nor Shinsuke Nakamura have been able to pull something good out of him.

Jinder desperately needs a great match to add weight to his argument on top of the card, and that match is not going to come against Brock Lesnar. Brock’s singles matches have left a lot to be desired over the last few years. In fact, it wouldn’t be a stretch to say that his last great singles match came in 2013 against CM Punk.

The 'Modern Day Maharaja' needs a great match, and Brock Lesnar isn’t going to be the man to give him one.
