It’s one thing to be a tag team in WWE, where the health of one team member spells doom for the other. It’s a different matter when both teammates are real-life identical twins, and it becomes difficult, if not impossible, for either twin to carve out a singles career without connections being made to the other brother.

Such is the case that has befallen Jey and Jimmy Uso. Jey is the one who’s currently on the shelf with a shoulder injury, yet both he and his brother haven’t been seen for months now. As a tag team, they were one of the most popular and exciting teams in the entire division, and they had a lot of support from WWE management, as demonstrated by their long reign as Tag Team Champions and their regular teaming with John Cena.

Unfortunately, WWE have decided to keep both Usos off the show instead of just one, which has led to Jimmy being stuck at home with nothing to do. It seems that WWE is treating the Usos identically to the Bellas: because they’re identical twins, they HAVE to be presented either together or not at all.

Not only is that unfair to Jimmy, who isn’t on RAW while his brother recovers, but it also suggests that the two of them can ONLY be a tag team, which might indicate that beyond being a tag team, their collective futures in WWE might be limited.
