8 Most Talented Wrestlers WWE Refuse To Push
5. Bobby Roode
2018 has been dubious, not 'Glorious' for Bobby Roode.
Do not for one second think cracking juvenile jokes about Drake Maverick p*ssing his pants then beating AOP in fluky fashion is a mega-push. The announcers may have talked up Roode and Chad Gable's prospects as a team on Raw, but the jury's still out on this working long-term.
Roode was such a hot heel on NXT, so much so that WWE should never have bowed to (modest) fan pressure and turned him babyface on the main roster. He's best when playing the snide, arrogant sort who thinks the world owes him a living. The bizarre quasi-father and son relationship with Gable is so far removed from that it's unreal.
WWE refuse to take a chance on Roode. If he booted Gable's grinning mug down a flight of stairs, grabbed his 'Glorious' spotlight back and rubbed fans the wrong way, he'd be able to show his true worth. Right now, in a bargain bin, thrown-together tag, he's hardly getting to do that.
