8 New Directions For WWE After Money In The Bank 2026
7. Babyface Turn For ‘The Prodigy’?
Roxanne Perez was definitely one of the most popular names involved at Money In The Bank. Indeed, the live crowd in New Orleans seemed to be cheering her on whenever she was left in the ring all on her lonesome staring up at the briefcase high above. That's rather interesting, because it shows a groundswell of support for someone who's been more of a background figure since hitting the main roster.
Judgment Day has long since run its course, hasn't it? So, it’d be lovely to see Perez spin out of that as a babyface and go from there. She needs something else to do other than cackle next to Liv Morgan or Raquel Rodriguez, and her performance on Saturday proved she’s capable of more.
Perez vs. Liv is surely something WWE would be up for doing in the near future. Or, if they fancy waiting until WrestleMania 43 for that sort of thing, then why not have Roxanne start the JD fracture story by warring with Raquel. Rodriguez could be positioned as some sort of human brick wall standing between 'The Prodigy' and Morgan. Once Perez blitzes through that (maybe even winning the Women's Intercontinental Title along the way), she can focus on Liv.
Trouble, trouble.
One thing's worth repeating: Roxanne needs to break free from the faction and stand on her own merits. Money In The Bank proved once and for all that WWE's core audience sees her value. Now, it's high time those in power positions behind the curtain came through for her as well.
