6. Anthony Greene

Competing under his real name is 'Retro' Anthony Greene, whose WWE signing was first reported by journalist Gary Cassidy in August.

Greene, 27, is another ex-EVOLVE wrestler, though his most famous work took place in Beyond Wrestling, which is where he first broke out. Working a sleazy heel gimmick befitting his nickname, he stood out as one of the brightest personalities in that promotion and any other he appeared in, with his charisma likely contributing to WWE's interest in him.

As a character, WWE could conceivably put Greene on television tomorrow and he'd flourish, though such opportunities may not be so forthcoming on such a crowded place. Regardless, the Massachusetts native was one of the biggest names left on the indies before WWE swept him up.
