Okay, okay, Bray Wyatt is every bit as hot as the chilly side of Neptune right now, but all is not lost when it comes to the Eater of Worlds. A feud between Bray Wyatt and Brock Lesnar has almost happened on a couple of occasions already, and the time may be right to finally pull the trigger on that beef. Is it a risk? Absolutely, but the future of Wyatt could depend on it.

Bray Wyatt has been given the worst material to work with in all of WWE, but he has proved more than capable of delivering when the ball is in his court. The key to this entire program would ironically be a complete absence of Lesnar, leaving Wyatt and Heyman to do battle over the microphone. Now, WWE isn’t about to let two of its talents take up TV time without some input, but allowing Wyatt and Heyman to wax lyrical without shackles could be the key to reestablishing Bray Wyatt as a force in WWE.

The story writes itself, much in the same way Bray’s attempts to lure The Undertaker back should have done so back in 2015. Wyatt wants Lesnar and frequently calls him out, but his calls fall on deaf ears. Heyman arrives to tell Wyatt that Lesnar does not view him as a credible opponent, leading to Bray giving Heyman the beating of a lifetime. Wyatt must be booked as a serious wrecking ball in the ring too, meaning less of the theatrics and more of the ploughing through people.

If done properly, the feud would give Lesnar something to do without having to be a constant presence on TV, while rebuilding one of the promotion’s most damaged top stars.
